If you’re looking for a truck driving job, there are a few different types that you can choose from.
The first type of Truck Driving Job is called a straight truck driver. As the name suggests, this type of job involves driving a straight truck. This is the most common type of trucking job, and it usually entails delivering goods to businesses or consumers. To qualify for a straight truck driver job, you typically need at least one year of commercial driving experience.
Another common type of trucking job is the tractor-trailer driver. This type of job requires you to operate a semi-truck with two trailers attached. Tractor-trailer drivers are responsible for transporting goods across long distances, and they often travel to different states or even countries. To become a tractor-trailer driver, you typically need two years of commercial driving experience.
The next type of trucking job is called a flatbed driver. This type of job involves operating a semi-truck with one or more trailers attached to it. Flatbed drivers are responsible for transporting cargo that can’t be stacked on top of other trucks because it would cause damage during the shipping process, such as cars and large industrial equipment like cranes or bulldozers. To become a flatbed driver, you typically need three years of commercial driving experience. In addition to these qualifications, most employers will also require physical examinations before hiring someone in this position due to safety concerns about heavy lifting requirements associated with loading/unloading cargo from their vehicles!
Finally, there is the tanker driver job. Tanker drivers are responsible for transporting liquids and gases, such as gasoline, diesel fuel, or propane. This type of trucking job can be very dangerous because the cargo you’re transporting can easily catch on fire if there is a leak. As a result, most tanker driving jobs require you to have at least five years of commercial driving experience.
